3. Phlomis russeliana
Also known as Jerusalem Sage, this perennial typically blooms during the Summer. Phlomis russeliana has light yellow flowers and can grow up to 3ft tall.
Like so many other plants that spread easily, the Phlomis can withstand many conditions, including rocky, poorly drained soil. It is drought tolerant and can take over barren areas of your garden by itself.
Should you wish to remove the plant, you can cut off all roots, which will prevent any new growth.
